A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on X that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to “recuperate at home”. “The boxer and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two friends who passed away as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the official remarked. Honoring the Deceased The two men who died were identified as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach.
