Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

The young golfer can count on numerous high-profile backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates several international courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she revealed.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially told me to play and have fun," she added.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.

But she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He stands as the best player in the world," Kai stated.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He told me to go out there, relax, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in the sport at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence exposes golf to wider groups, especially reaching the next generation.

Kai maintains millions of followers and has started an exclusive fashion and living brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
